By consolidating these resources, UT Group provides comprehensive solutions to semiconductor and flat panel display (FPD) manufacturing fronts; from design & development of device software to start-up of production lines, operations, and maintenance services.
We do outsourced services for design and development of LSIs and other semiconductor devices. We also send design engineers to work at our clients’ facilities, subcontract development works of control software and other built-in software. We leverage on our diverse experience and know-how in production of semiconductors and FPDs, namely in development and production of equipment and manufacturing operations, and conduct DFM (Design for Manufacturing).
UT Group’s experienced leading engineers and staff propose optimal staff allocation equipment selection for each production process and facilitate early start-ups. Our experienced staff make a proposal for the most suitable new/used equipment, depending on the client’s budget. Moreover, we move equipment for relocation or dispose it upon request.
Leveraging on know-how accumulated at the world-class cutting-edge production facilities, we conduct an outsourced integrated manufacturing operation. For example, in case of semiconductor manufacturing processes, we do outsourced services of various processes such as photolithography, diffusion, ion implantation, and etching; daily maintenance, adjustment, installation, and maintenance support of equipment. Furthermore, we add values by monitoring production capacity of each process and subsequently proposing ways to improve the work.
We provide a variety of engineering services: guaranteed service of an equipment start-up, supplying both a manufacturing equipment and engineers; repairs and exchange of supplies and parts; refurbishing; and overhaul. We make use of our nationwide sales network of group companies for maintenance services in case of troubles and emergencies. The Group’s training and education programs foster engineers who are able enough to offer high-level engineering services.
